A: There are different types of scaffolding but the ones used most often are made of aluminium or steel. They both have their benefits.
The biggest advantage of aluminium is its weight in comparison to steel, meaning that the scaffolding is quicker to erect and dismantle. It is best suited to those who only need the scaffolding for a short amount of time. Steel is stronger and more stable and thus more suited to difficult terrain, long periods of time and the winter months with hazardous weather. It is a lot heavier than aluminium and so takes longer to put up and take down.
A: On the day that the scaffold is erected, it is then required to be checked comprehensively for safety every 7 days. We always prioritise the safety of our customers and staff so there is nothing to worry about.
